Disorda will Plant Trees in Entire Open Facilities

Jakarta Sport and Youth (Disorda) launched tree planting and bio pore holes making activity in Ciracas Sport Center (GOR), East Jakarta, Tuesday (8/4).

In the first phase, as many as 20,000 bio pore holes and 10,000 trees will be planted around existing open facilities throughout Jakarta.

Jakarta Sport and Youth Department (Disorda), Firmansyah Wahid said, Disorda managed around 868 acres of open or closed facilities.

"We could certainly help reforestation program that initiated by Jakarta Governor at least for the resident around the facility if all facilities could be planted with trees and has many bio pore holes," told Wahid.

According to him, the facilities user could also get more fresh air when exercising and get more comfortable.

"So the Disorda facilities will become the economical and convenient place for family recreation," told Firmansyah.

The event was also attended by Jakarta Bakesbangpol Head, Ratiyono and Tourism Deputy Governor Assistant, Deli Indrayati.
